Tent Camping in Teller County

There are literally thousands of places to go camping throughout Teller County. The Pike National Forest offers campers both developed and undeveloped campgrounds for nightly use. Mueller State Park and nearby Eleven Mile State Park offer both tent and RV campground sites along with bathrooms, showers, and water.

Feel the need to camp near a running stream or enjoy watching the reflection of the full moon on water, then investigate your camping options at Eleven Mile Canyon, Manitou Lake Park Recreation Area, and Rampart Reservoir.

There are private campgrounds, available cabin rentals, youth and family summer camps, and reserved group camping areas also right here in Teller County.

Tent campers should always remain aware of coming weather changes and observe posted fire warnings. Some campsites require reservations which can be made online. Make your reservations early due to the very busy and popular summer camping season.
